Home > What is InPage > Public Sites

Public sites are websites that wish to generate revenue from online advertising but do not wish to manage campaigns on their sites. In this case InPage delivers adverts from the Public sites on their behalf and shares the revenue for placement of the adverts with the sites.
These sites typically constitute the Portals, Hubs and Corporate websites that do not rely solely on advertising as a revenue stream, but see it as a secondary and supplementary revenue stream.
In order to become a Public site a site needs to apply through the InPage website. During the application InPage will negotiate mutually acceptable revenue share terms. Once an application is accepted the site is required to profile itself (according to site theme, target markets, number of impressions, location, etc.) in order to allow targeted placement of adverts.
Public sites receive adverts from a pool of generic adverts submitted by Advertisers. The adverts are fed to the Public sites according to the sites profile in order to ensure relevance and pertinence for both Advertisers and Public sites. Public sites have the ability to block competitive ads through a filter system.
If a Coca-Cola™, Nike™ or Red Bull™ wants to advertise broadly on the web they can reach a broad cross-section of Public sites in this way, maximising your revenue potential from your site. InPage automatically places relevant CPM (cost-per thousand impressions) ads into the Public site, generating the maximum revenue per page for the site owner.
All adverts served by InPage are reviewed through a combination of human and automated processes; sensitivity content filters are applied to ensure that adverts are not inappropriate.
